We have developed a unique technology to produce light and seamless composite LPG cylinders that fulfill the highest safety standards.
At BGC, we take pride in pushing the boundaries of innovation and safety in the gas storage industry. Through years of dedicated research and development, we have pioneered a groundbreaking technology that has redefined the concept of gas cylinder excellence.
Our cutting-edge Seamless Composite LPG Cylinders, also known as Type IV LPG cylinders, stand as a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering products that not only meet but exceed the highest safety standards. These cylinders are meticulously engineered to provide a level of security and performance that is unparalleled in the market.
What Sets Our Cylinders Apart?
Advanced Composite Materials Our cylinders are constructed using a unique blend of fiberglass and advanced polymer materials. This combination not only ensures exceptional strength but also makes our cylinders remarkably lightweight. This means easy handling and transport, allowing for greater convenience and operational efficiency
Seamless Design Unlike traditional steel cylinders that are prone to seam-related vulnerabilities, our seamless composite cylinders eliminate this concern entirely. The absence of welds or joints enhances structural integrity and drastically reduces the risk of leakage or failure, providing a truly safe storage solution.
Exceptional Durability Our composite cylinders are designed to withstand the most demanding conditions, making them ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. From high-pressure environments to challenging outdoor settings, our cylinders consistently perform without compromise.
Corrosion Resistance The unique properties of composite materials ensure that our cylinders are highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and chemical reactions. This not only prolongs the lifespan of the cylinder but also guarantees the purity and quality of the stored gas.
Environmental Considerations Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our technology. The use of composite materials reduces the overall carbon footprint and contributes to a greener, more eco-friendly solution for gas storage.
Our cylinders are produced specially for the LPG industry in our fully-automated production plant, and their manufacturing process is comprised of three main steps:
First, we create the inside part of the cylinder. We use a special plastic called high-density polyethylene (HDPE). We blow air into the plastic to give it the shape of the cylinder’s inside. This part is very important because it keeps the gas safe and doesn’t let it leak out.
Next, we make the cylinder stronger. We wrap tiny pieces of glass called fibers around the inside part we made earlier. We also use a special sticky material called resin. This makes the cylinder very strong, so it can hold the gas safely without breaking, even if there’s a lot of pressure.
In the last step, we make the outside of the cylinder. We use the same special plastic, HDPE, to make a cover that goes around the strong inside part. This cover is important because it protects the cylinder and makes it easy to hold. It’s designed in a special way to look nice and also help you hold it comfortably.
Cylinder design and approvals according to BS EN 14427 and ISO 11110-3, cylinder valve dependent as per requirement cylinder size can be supplied with M26 x 1.5 thread with valve and without valve. The product logo or sticker can be placed on the outer casing’s upper part marking the area 78 x 132mm. A cylinder valve can be placed on customer requirements.
Burhan Gas have now successfully and qualitatively launched LPG Composite Cylinder in Pakistan and have the approvals from Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). Burhan Gas Cylinders are certified by TUV & ECM Italy. ISO 11119-3, BS EN 14427, BS EN 12245.
